Amadeus

Mozart's life, career and death are the stuff of legend.  Antonio Salieri, the protagonist in Shaffer's version, became convinced Mozart's genius was the result of God's favor.  After the, the name Amadeus means "loved by God".  The divine choice to endow the vulgar creature Mozart with musical brilliance while the virtuous Salieri suffers the fate of mediocrity drives the latter to seek revenge.  Tortured by jealousy Salierei was driven to madness, but was he driven to murder?  Immerse yourself in Mozart's music as well as the intrigue of this 19th century mystery.
